Who am I?

All about the Grantham Handyman

Hi I’m Michael, the Grantham Handyman. I have been serving the people of Grantham since 2013, with all aspects of property maintenance – both inside and out. I have been very fortunate over the years to build my reputation locally for fantastic quality work, so much so that I am now supported by a small, reliable local team working to the same high standards. We are easy to spot working around Grantham in our well signed vans, so you always know who is coming to carry out work at your home. Customers often stop us for a chat or to ask us to call round to give advice about the next project they have in mind. It is important to for us to provide support and advice to all our customers along with a free no obligation quote, written and provided in advance, inclusive of all costs. This ensures that we have understood our customer’s needs and our prices are clear to see, with no hidden extras.

All the Grantham Handyman team has comprehensive insurance for your peace of mind, and a full local authority waste licence. Waste removal, along with clearing up fully after the jobs that we complete is an important part of our work too. We take pride in our commitment to do the best that we can for all our customers whatever the job we are doing.

Alongside our private customers the Grantham Handyman team also works for many local businesses including landlords and letting agents, schools and the local authority. As well as property redecoration and general maintenance and repairs, we can build furniture or put up a curtain pole or a mirror. We have created shelters and woodland trail areas for school playgrounds, installed sheds, summer houses and decking and designed many different types of raised beds to suit all kinds of gardener’s needs. We can replace one broken panel or redesign and replace a whole fence.

We will always try to help customers to repair and maintain where possible before suggesting renewal. In this way we can help you to create the look you want at a cost that is affordable. We make every effort to source materials for all the work that we do from business traders within Grantham to support our town.

The scope of works that the Grantham Handyman team can carry out is great and varied, if you are unsure of the type of trades person you need for a job then it is definitely worth giving me a call. On the rare occasions that I am unable to help, for example with more specialist plumbing or electrical jobs, I will certainly be able to recommend another local business that you can rely on.
